Karen Janowski is a part-time Assistive Technology Specialist in the Newton Public Schools. She is also an Assistive Technology Consultant who presents locally and nationally on a variety of special education topics and consults to schools in the Greater Boston area. She is an Adjunct Professor at Simmons College and serves as chairman of the Massachusetts AT Advisory Council. She maintains a blog at http://teachingeverystudent.blogspot.com. Her passion is to promote independence and remove the obstacles to learning for all students using assistive and educational technology strategies and solutions.




Judith Schoonover, MEd, OTR/L, ATP is an occupational therapist and former elementary school teacher. She is certified as an AT professional by RESNA and is a founding member of the Loudoun County (VA) Public Schools AT team. Judith has worked in schools for more than 35 years, publishing and presenting on the topics of school-based occupational therapy, transition, literacy, UDL, and assistive technology. She is the Vice President of the Virginia Occupational Therapy Association, and has served as the communication liaison for the American Occupational Therapy Association Early Intervention and School Special Interest Section. Judith is a member of AOTA's Transition and RtI Task Forces, and an AOTA Representative to the National Joint Committee for the Communication Needs of Persons with Severe Disabilities (NJC).



Matthew Press is an occupational therapist and assistive technology professional through RESNA. He has practiced in the field of occupational therapy for the past thirteen years and has focused in assistive technology for the last eleven. He currently works in the Pendergast School District and regularly presents at various local, state, and national conferences.
